Construct

The harsh July sun was baking the whole construction site, with heatstroked time only creeping.

"Okay, try this. What if being serious is overrated? What if life's just too short for serious, right?"

As if feeling a type of pain, Ned looked at his friend and grimaced. "Here you go again, dude. You think too damn much! Let's get this done so we can go eat, the truck's here in ten. Move!"

At the same moment, they pulled up the wide handles of their wheelbarrows loaded down with cement bags, and rattled up the wobbly scaffold ramp, one behind the other.
